GG4, the mighty Kong of cannabis varieties, prowled and devoured the ‘super candy’ Zkittlez, creating a highly compatible breeding pair.
This all-Californian breeding constellation swiftly bore fruit, resulting in a mega hybrid with a slight indica dominance (60%) and a high THC count of 24%. This guarantees potent psychoactivity and medicinal effects, offering total relaxation.
Gorilla Zkittlez boasts the same impressive resin coat as GG4, with an ocean of trichomes engulfing the plants. However, it’s not just the resin that impresses growers; the above-average yields of 500-700g make them potential heavyweights.
This impressive yield is achieved within a mere 8-9 weeks of flowering. The outdoor specifications of this strain are equally sensational. Despite a height of only 1.7 meters, outdoor Gorilla Zkittlez plants can yield up to 2.5 kilos in optimal conditions.

The Doc had been eyeing Barney’s Farm strains for quite some time, and their newly released Gorilla Zkittlez provided the perfect incentive to finally test them out. Within 72 hours, the two feminized seeds sown emerged from the surface.
They exhibited lush, bushy growth with unusually shiny, oily-looking dark green shade leaves. After three weeks in the vegetative stage, The Doc triggered flowering by switching to a 12/12 light cycle.
The plants displayed a growth pattern more reminiscent of a classic indica than expected, considering their mere 60% indica composition: dense, stout, with short internodal spaces, and standing 25 and 27 cm tall.
Resin Production Begins Early
Upon entering the flowering stage, the plants revealed a strong stretching instinct, indicating the activation of the Gorilla Zkittlez’s sativa genes.
